Blessed Dreams
I went to the front porch
The sun was about to rise,
The frost was sett’n on the grass
From a cold winters night,
It’s easy to count your bless’n
On the warm days when it’s clear,
It’s just a little harder
When the winter is gett’n near,
I went back to the kitchen
An’ I grabbed my second cup,
Sipp’n on the coffee
An’ send’n bless’ns up,
Lord thank you for the sunrise
It was such an awesome sight,
To see the light beams danc’n
In the frosty grass
As it came light,
My dogs are here
An’ they come to me,
Lord thank you for these friends
That never do betray me,
Not like mortal men
The coffee is so tasty
An’ hot enough it seems,
To warm my hands around the cup
As I recall my dreams,
Happy to recite them
From the day before,
All my children
We’r at my table
An’ grandkids on my floor,
Thank you Lord for lett’n me
Get down ther’ while they played,
They let me drive the tractor
While they were bail’n hay,
A dear friend came to visit
As we had a family meal,
He sat ther’ at my table
An’ thought it was quite a deal,
I am thankful that he came
An’ heard my grandson bless the meal,
I went to check the livestock
An’ a new one had arrived,
A little black an white one
Thank you he’s alive,
His momma she is gentle
An’ let’s me see her son,
Thank you Lord, when she seen me
She didn’t chase me just for fun,
An’ then ther’ was the sunset
Right ther’ in the West,
The day was nearly finished
An’ it was one of the best,
Lord thank you for these “Blessed Dreams”
Truly, I am blessed…
“Happy Thanksgiving from Me to You,
an’ all that’s in your nest.”

Psalms 143:5-6
“I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.”
Thanks for listen’n, an’ as always, keep shar’n the good news!
