Walk’n the Mile
Walk a mile in my shoes
To know how I feel,
Did you climb up a mount’n
Or stroll down a hill,
Wher’ ther’ thorns knee high
Or sidewalk I built,
Was rain pour’n down
Or the sun at a tilt,
A mile in my shoes
Which one do you choose,
A pleasant stroll
Or another rock wall,
You walked a mile
I walked them all,
You wear my shoes
For just one mile,
Look in my closet
I have a pile,
Of wor’n out shoes
From all my trials,
A mile in my shoes
Was easy to do,
But you won’t know a man
Until you’ve gone two,
The Father has traveled
Each mile that I trod,
“Walk’n the Mile”
Is easy with God…
